Skills Required:
Additional Requirements:
Proven expertise in buyer audits, social compliance, legal compliance, and CAPA management.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, workplace safety, environmental compliance, and international standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
1. Independently manage buyer, third-party, and certification audits, including BSCI, Better Work/ILO, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, GOTS, OCS, RCS, GRS, OEKO-TEX, and other applicable standards.
2. Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Laws and Rules, buyer requirements, statutory regulations, and relevant environmental and safety standards.
3. Maintain and update compliance policies, SOPs, registers, reports, legal documents, and audit-related records.
4. Monitor audit findings, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and ensure timely closure of non-conformities.
5. Oversee HR activities, worker welfare, wages, working hours, employee benefits, grievance handling, and workplace discipline.
6. Coordinate fire, electrical, structural safety, environmental management, and occupational health and safety activities.
7. Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, employee training, and compliance awareness programs.
8. Supervise the compliance team and coordinate with buyers, auditors, consultants, and departmental heads.
9. Prepare periodic compliance reports and recommend improvements to senior management.
