Responsibilities & Context:
Job Purpose
The Accounts Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Record Keeping Maintain accurate ledgers for cash, bank, and journal entries; reconcile accounts regularly.
Accounts Payable & Receivable Process supplier invoices, track payments, and manage customer billing for repair services.
Payroll Management Prepare monthly salary sheets.
Inventory Accounting Monitor spare parts and consumables stock, record usage, and reconcile with store records.
Banking & Cash Management Manage daily cash flow, deposit collections, and maintain relationships with banks.
Financial Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
