Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operator allocation according to production requirements.

• Monitor hourly production and ensure achievement of production targets.

• Supervise operators and support their skill development.

• Prepare and maintain WIP and production reports.

• Monitor production efficiency and prepare efficiency reports.

• Prepare model-wise reconciliation and scrap-cost reports.

• Ensure proper process layout and line balancing.

• Monitor operating ratios and improve line productivity.

• Identify and manage cutting parts properly.

• Ensure correct identification of fabric weave, fabric top and inside.

• Monitor sewing operations and ensure compliance with required sewing methods.

• Identify sewing-machine-related defects and coordinate necessary action.

• Understand basic sewing-machine mechanisms and perform basic adjustments where applicable.

• Monitor sewing allowance, back stitch and other quality requirements.

• Conduct defect analysis and prepare defect-analysis reports.

• Implement appropriate standard countermeasures for quality problems.

• Motivate operators and maintain effective communication within the production team.

• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Cutting and Maintenance teams to resolve line issues.
