• Sound knowledge of AQL inspection systems, buyer compliance manuals, and quality standards.

• Good communication skills for liaising with buyers, merchandisers, and production staff.

• Ability to work under pressure.

Pre-Production Quality

• Review tech pack, specification sheet, approved sample, pattern, artwork, and customer requirements.

• Attend and support PP meetings and ensure all quality-related comments are properly communicated to the concerned teams.

• Review size set, fit sample, and per-production samples before bulk production.

• Identify potential quality risks before production starts and take preventive action.

Production Quality Control

• Monitor quality performance from cutting through sewing, finishing, ironing, and packing.

• Conduct regular inline and end-line quality audits.

• Ensure workmanship, measurements, construction, appearance, and finishing meet customer requirements.

• Monitor critical operations and ensure proper quality checkpoints are maintained.

• Follow up on quality issues and ensure timely corrective actions.

Measurement & Workmanship

• Verify garment measurements against approved specifications.

• Monitor measurement deviations and ensure corrective action is taken immediately.

• Check workmanship, stitching, seam quality, SPI, construction, appearance, and finishing.

• Ensure rejected garments are properly segregated, rectified, and re-inspected.

Customer / 3rd-Party Inspection Support

• Coordinate with customer representatives and third-party inspection teams during inspections.

• Ensure all inspection-related documents, samples, and required arrangements are ready.

• Follow up on inspection findings and ensure corrective actions are completed.

• Support final inspection preparation and minimize inspection failure risks.

Quality Improvement

• Analyze recurring defects, identify root causes and Prepare and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Monitor PPM, DHU, defect trends, rejection, rework, and inspection performance.

• Conduct quality awareness/training for QC and production teams when required.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve product quality.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily quality reports, inline/end-line audit reports, inspection reports, and corrective action records.

• Prepare quality performance reports and communicate major issues to management.
