Responsibilities & Context:
Receive and review order sheets from the Bulk Production Coordination Department and update planning records accordingly.
Process order sheets and prepare yarn purchase requisitions for submission to the Yarn Procurement Department.
Coordinate with the Yarn Procurement Department to ensure timely in-house availability of yarn.
Liaise with the Knitting Planning Team to ensure knitting production starts as per the production schedule.
Monitor and follow up on knitting production progress to ensure timely completion.
Monitor grey fabric inventory and maintain stock at the optimum level.
Allocate yarn and grey elastic against production orders as per requirements.
Ensure timely batch delivery and monitor batch completion within the designated batch closing date.
Follow up on elastic dyeing activities and ensure on-time delivery of finished elastic to the next production stage.
