Job Context
Silver Line Group is seeking an experienced, execution-driven GM – Integrated Planning & PPC to lead end-to-end planning across its Spinning and Non-Denim Woven Textile operations — from customer development and yarn/grey sourcing through production and final delivery. The role acts as the central control tower connecting Marketing, R&D, SCM/Import, Spinning, Weaving, Wet Processing, and Quality, covering four streams: Yarn Route, Imported Grey Route, Spinning (internal & external customers), and R&D/Development.
Operational Scale: ~3.2 million yards/month woven fabric capacity (Yarn-Dyed + Solid-Dyed), ~1.0 million yards/month printing capacity, 232 Air-Jet + ~21–25 Rapier looms.
Key Responsibilities
Own integrated planning from raw material/development through production to customer delivery
Bridge Marketing, R&D, Production and Customers with one agreed version of status, quantity, and delivery dates
Drive on-time R&D development and sample submission, with T&A tracking and risk flagging
Plan and de-risk imported yarn and imported/external grey fabric (backward planning, ETA tracking, recovery options)
Plan Spinning for both internal requirements and external customer orders, balancing capacity fairly
Manage loom-wise planning (Air-Jet & Rapier), preparatory (warping/sizing/drawing), and wet processing/finishing schedules
Optimize inventory, WIP, and working capital without risking delivery or development timelines
Maintain Master Plan, forward capacity visibility (M+1 to M+3), and management dashboards
Lead daily/weekly planning reviews across departments; own recovery planning for at-risk orders
Drive ERP/MES-based planning; reduce dependence on manual spreadsheets
Build and lead the Planning/PPC team
Educational Requirements
BSc in Textile Engineering/Technology (strongly preferred); MBA or Supply Chain/Operations qualification a plus
Experience Requirements
15+ years in Textile/Spinning Planning or PPC, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role (GM/DGM/Head of Planning)
Proven experience in both Non-Denim Woven Textile and Spinning planning, including external customer yarn orders
Strong imported yarn and imported/external grey fabric planning experience
Hands-on experience with Yarn Dyeing, weaving preparatory, Air-Jet/Rapier loom planning, Solid Dyeing, Printing, and Finishing
Strong R&D/development planning track record (on-time sample submission)
Experience supporting USA and European buyers/markets
Demonstrated success reducing inventory/WIP while improving on-time delivery
ERP/MES exposure; strong Excel and analytical skills; strong English communication
Not suitable for candidates limited to only Spinning, only Weaving, only Dyeing, Garment Planning, Merchandising, or basic PPC reporting — the role requires control across all four planning streams.
