• Age 23 to 40 years

• Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern, fit, fabric, trims, washing, and finishing. 

• Good knowledge of the product development and bulk sampling process. Ability to interpret tech packs, measurement charts, CADs, buyer comments, and reference samples. 

• Strong planning, follow-up, problem-solving, and coordination skills. 

• Good commercial awareness, including basic garment costing, fabric consumption, SMV, and production feasibility. 

• Ability to manage multiple styles and priorities under tight deadlines. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and sample-tracking systems. 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. 

• Review buyer briefs, tech packs, reference samples, CADs, and development requirements. 

• Conduct initial feasibility assessments covering fabric, trims, construction, washing, embellishment, cost, and lead time. 

• Coordinate fabric and trim sourcing, development, and booking with the relevant teams. 

• Prepare and maintain development trackers, sample request details, and product workbooks. 

• Follow up with patterns, CAD, technical, sample room, washing, embroidery, printing, and finishing teams. 

• Ensure development samples meet the required design intent, quality, fit, workmanship, hand feel, and appearance. 

• Review samples internally before submission and ensure all identified issues are corrected. 

• Track buyer comments and coordinate revised samples within the agreed timeline. 

• Support the costing team with accurate fabric consumption, trim details, wash costs, SMV, and other product information. 

• Identify potential production risks at the development stage and recommend practical solutions. 

• Maintain proper records of approved fabrics, trims, washes, measurements, construction details, and buyer comments. 

• Coordinate the handover of confirmed styles to the bulk merchandising and production teams.
