Job Context
Silver Composite Textile Mills Ltd. (Unit-03) is looking for an experienced and accountable Manager – Dyes & Chemicals Store to take full responsibility for inventory control, quality verification, safe storage, and order/batch-wise issuance and consumption reconciliation of dyes, chemicals, and auxiliaries at its integrated Yarn Dyeing, Weaving, Dyeing, Printing & Finishing facility. Unauthorized or unexplained excess issuance will not be acceptable.

Key Responsibilities

• Full ownership of dyes & chemicals store — receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory

• Verify incoming materials against PO, specification, COA/SDS; hold non-conforming items from release

• Maintain 100% physical vs. ERP stock reconciliation; conduct regular cycle counts

• Enforce strict order/batch-wise issuance against approved recipe/BOM; control excess issuance

• Monitor standard vs. actual consumption; investigate variances, wastage, and cost impact

• Ensure FIFO/FEFO, expiry control, and safe chemical storage per SDS/hazard classification

• Maintain ZDHC/compliance documentation, traceability, and audit readiness

• Coordinate with Production, Lab, Procurement, Finance, and Compliance

• Lead and train the store team; ensure accountability and prevent pilferage

Educational Requirements

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Chemical/Textile Engineering, or related field

Experience Requirements

• 8–12 years in Dyes & Chemicals Store/Inventory Management in textiles, with 3–5 years in a managerial role

• Hands-on experience in an export-oriented dyeing/textile facility (Yarn Dyeing/Woven Dyeing/Printing/Finishing preferred)

• Strong ERP, physical reconciliation, and batch-wise consumption control experience

• Knowledge of SDS/MSDS, GHS, FIFO/FEFO, ZDHC MRSL/RSL preferred
