Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred); PEng/relevant professional accreditation is a plus
10+ years of civil engineering experience, with at least 4–5 years in a senior/managerial role overseeing industrial or large-scale commercial construction projects
Proven experience managing factory/industrial building construction in Bangladesh (garment/textile industry experience strongly preferred)
Strong knowledge of RAJUK approval processes, BNBC (Bangladesh National Building Code), and local construction regulations
Experience with ETP, utility infrastructure, and industrial facility civil works is highly desirable
Familiarity with LEED and ZDHC-related building/construction standards a plus
Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant project management/scheduling tools (MS Project or similar)Strong leadership, contractor management, and cross-functional coordination skills
Excellent communication skills in Bangla and English
Lead end-to-end civil engineering execution for new factory construction and expansion projects, from site survey and design review through handover
Manage civil works for industrial facilities including production floors, washing plant infrastructure, ETP (effluent treatment plant) civil structures, warehouses, and utility buildings
Review architectural and structural drawings; coordinate with design consultants and structural engineers to ensure buildability, compliance, and cost efficiency
Prepare and manage BOQs, project budgets, and construction schedules; monitor progress against timelines and flag deviations early
Supervise and manage contractors, sub-contractors, and site engineering teams; enforce quality control and safety standards on site
Ensure compliance with local building codes, RAJUK/relevant authority approvals, and applicable environmental, ZDHC, and LEED-related construction requirements
Coordinate procurement of construction materials and equipment in line with project specifications and budget
Conduct regular site inspections, quality audits, and progress reporting to senior management
Liaise with government bodies and local authorities for permits, approvals, and inspections
Manage risk, resolve on-site technical issues, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
Support facility maintenance planning and infrastructure upgrades across existing factory sites as needed
