Educational Requirements
B.Sc. in Textile Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Apparel Manufacturing / Mechanical or relevant discipline from any reputed university.
Professional certifications on Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), ISO 9001, or Lean Manufacturing will be given strong preference.
Experience RequirementsAt least 12 to 15 year(s) of working experience in the apparel sector, with at least 3-5 years in a top-management quality role (AGM/DGM/GM) specifically handling Knit garments factories.

Key Job Responsibilities
QMS Strategy & Leadership: Direct and manage the entire Quality Management System (QMS) and Quality Assurance (QA) functions across all knit production units.
Buyer Standard Implementation: Ensure seamless execution of major global knitwear buyers' manual, technical requirements, and AQL (Acceptance Quality Limit) standards.
Technical & Social Audits: Lead all internal and external technical/QMS audits, achieving high compliance scores and driving corrective action plans (CAPAs).
Process Control (Knit Specific): Monitor process controls specific to knit manufacturing, including tubular/open-width fabric inspection, dyeing/finishing quality parameters, multi-color printing, embroidery, automated cutting, and high-stretch sewing lines.
RFT & Defect Reduction: Monitor Right First Time (RFT) metrics, reduce line rejections, analyze root causes of quality failures, and execute continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
Team Development: Build, train, and mentor quality managers, QA leads, and inline audit personnel to enhance technical competence across the plant.
Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with Production, Merchandising, and Planning teams to resolve quality bottlenecks pre-production and during bulk runs.
