Experience:
Educational RequirementsB.Sc. in Textile Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Garments Manufacturing Technology from a reputed university.
Additional credentials in Total Quality Management (TQM) or Lean Six Sigma are highly desirable.
Deep understanding of woven fabric behavior, construction parameters, measurement specs, and specialized washing effects.Strong problem-solving, analytical mindset, and ability to handle high-pressure audit environments.Excellent command over English communication and data presentation tools.
Key Job Responsibilities
Quality System Governance: Establish, monitor, and upgrade the Quality Management System (QMS) framework across all woven manufacturing units in line with ISO and international apparel standards.
Buyer Audit Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact for international buyers/retailers, successfully steering technical audits, compliance evaluations, and system reviews.
Process Optimization (Woven Specific): Oversee rigorous fabric inspection (shading, width, and skewness control), CAD/Marker cutting accuracy, fusing parameters, precision stitching layout, complex washing standards, and final packing audits.
AQL & Compliance Enforcement: Maintain stringent inline, mid-line, and final AQL random inspection checkpoints to minimize customer claims and eliminate shipment rejections.
Data-Driven Quality Control: Utilize statistical tools and quality metrics (DPMO, RFT, audit pass rates) to generate management reports and drive systematic factory-wide improvements.
Vendor & Trims Quality: Coordinate with sourcing and merchandising teams to evaluate raw material and trims/accessories quality before floor input.
Training & Culture Building: Cultivate a "Quality First" culture by organizing technical skill-building workshops, 5S implementations, and quality awareness programs for all factory cadres.
Educational Requirements
B.Sc. in Textile Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Garments Manufacturing Technology from a reputed university.
Additional credentials in Total Quality Management (TQM) or Lean Six Sigma are highly desirable.
Experience Requirements
At least 12 to 15 year(s) of professional experience in the readymade garments (RMG) sector, with proven expertise of managing Woven QMS/QA departments at a senior management level (AGM/DGM/GM).
