∎ Age 35 to 50 years

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Collaborate with designers, pattern makers, and suppliers to develop garment samples and prototypes. Review and provide technical input on garment designs, specifications, and construction methods to ensure feasibility and manufacturability.
∎ Create and maintain detailed technical specifications for garments, including measurements, construction techniques, materials, and finishes. Ensure that specifications comply with industry standards and customer requirements.
∎ Establish and enforce quality control processes to monitor the production of garments. Conduct inspections and tests at various stages of production to identify and address any quality issues, ensuring that garments meet the required standards.
∎ Conduct fit evaluations of garments by analyzing measurements and conducting fittings on live models or fit mannequins. Provide feedback and collaborate with pattern makers and suppliers to achieve the desired fit and silhouette.
∎ Collaborate with garment manufacturers and suppliers to communicate technical requirements, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with quality standards. Conduct supplier assessments and audits to evaluate their technical capabilities.
∎ Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce costs without compromising garment quality. Streamline processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement best practices to optimize the garment production workflow.
∎ Provide technical guidance and training to cross-functional teams, including pattern makers, sample makers, and quality control staff. Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies related to garment production and quality control.
∎ Manage the subsection of technical as per buyer requirements.
∎ fabric and art works. Making sure that all technical questions/problems are communicated with relevant parties and solved timely.
∎ Direct communication with technical counterparts in offices and headquarters.
∎ Monitoring closely critical styles and manufacturing processes.·        Review critical styles and problems with QA in charge during weekly meeting.
∎ Inform during weekly meetings the SMS / Bulk Production status to QA in charge.
∎ Technical follow-up from sample stage until final bulk inspection (Proto / First SMS / Balance SMS / Pilot / in-line / Production Samples / Pre-Final / Final).
∎ Inspections measurement control / dummy check / visual inspection for sampling and bulk production milestones as defined.
∎ Communicating all inspection results verbal and in written format to supplier and Gerry Weber Merchandising team.
∎ Report on weekly basis the quality status of running bulk production.·        Up-date PDM & CM systems for relevant attributes.
∎ Any other job will assign by management time to time.
