Job Context:
∎ Astech Ltd. Is a leading plastic packaging industry based in Chittagong and we are providing packaging solution to leading Multinationals & Local companies.
∎ We are looking for an experienced Manager for our Store & Inventory Department to ensure timely delivery and other Store & Inventory related activities.
∎ The manager acts a leadership role in reinforcing and adhering to establish company`s quality standards and specifications by validating buyers demand through the production process. The Manager directs the Store department in compliance with consumers` expectations and widely accepted standards. Supervises activities relating to auditing, and process control. Also responsible for implementing, maintaining and modifying the plant`s store management system to improve business operating systems and to meet the requirements of customers and best practice audits. Implementing statistical process control and corrective action with a mindset of continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure Safety Stock of finished goods and raw material based on the requirement of buyers for smooth production
∎ Maintain good communication with production, buyers and suppliers
∎ Ensure delivery according to lead time and provide necessary guideline in this regard
∎ To manage the inventory levels for finished goods and raw materials
∎ To provide the necessary leadership that is associated with building as well as maintaining a strong inventory management workforce
∎ Lead the organization's inventory related team and provide leadership for training and development of departmental personnel
∎ Snap check of material in order to prevent pilferage and discourage the mishandling of materials
∎ Place orders to replenish in a way to avoid stock deficiencies or surplus and analyze data to anticipate future needs
∎ Monitor overall warehouse operation, inbound & outbound delivery process as per invoice/delivery note by collecting invoice (delivery note) and RN (receiving note)
∎ Receiving materials after proper measurement compared to material requisition. Effective checking of materials' quality & quantity at the time of consignment
∎ Ensure proper entry to the ERP, maintain soft copy as well as hard copy of all the material related documents after delivery & distribution according to the production requisition and buyer requirement
∎ Maintain appropriate documentation process of every phase of material receiving, storage & disbursement
∎ Ensure site inventory and inventory report
∎ Need to check and entry to the register following: Materials Purchase Requisition (MPR); Materials Receiving Report (MRR); Materials Issue Slips (MIS); Materials Transfer Challan (MTC); Gate Pass; Transfer Materials Receiving Report (TMRR); Materials Transfer Requisition Form
∎ Conduct daily analyses & check to forecast potential inventory issues
∎ Follow up with transport contractor for incoming and outgoing materials
∎ Plan & organize strategic arrangement of managing store space
∎ Any other Store & inventory related task assigned by the management
