Responsibilities & Context:
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate records of all goods and materials in the store/warehouse.
Monitor stock in/out and report shortages on time.
Stock Control & Reporting
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
Identify and report stock variations, damages, or losses.
Procurement & Coordination
Communicate with suppliers and vendors.
Ensure timely ordering and replenishment of required items/raw materials.
Team Supervision
Supervise and guide storekeepers, helpers, and support staff.
Provide training and support to the store team.
Documentation & System Updates
Maintain records through ERP/Customized software or manual registers.
Safely store invoices, delivery challans and all related documents.
Security & Safety
Ensure safety and security of goods in the store.
Maintain fire safety, cleanliness, and proper hygiene standards.
Compliance & Audit
Follow company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Keep the store ready for audits and inspections.
