Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Have to be responsible for the overall Compliance of a knit composite factory.
∎ To organize and prepare factories for facing different types of audits like BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, Oekotex, Accord RSC & Alliance, C-TPAT along with other social /ethical/ environmental/technical/supply chain security (SCS)/ FCCA, etc.
∎ To ensure Legal Compliance/ Code of Conduct, Fire, Building, Electrical, Health & Safety issues, etc. in the factories;
∎ Responsible to make and implement compliance policies as per local law and different buyers codes of conduct;
∎ To give CAP on audit observation;
∎ To follow-up & to ensure timely implementation of all CAP received from third parties;
∎ Communicate with buying a house, third party audit firm, Fire & Civil Defense Department, Labour Office, Labour Court, BGMEA, Police Station, Local Influences and labor organizations, etc. in relation to all compliance-related matters;
∎ To lead a team and make them the same skilled, to identify and solve any sort of problem in relation to compliance and HR issues;
∎ Maintain data and documentation of all compliance activities;
∎ Collaborate with the HR team to ensure the implementation of consistent disciplinary action strategies in case of compliance standard violations;
∎ Monitor compliance systems to ensure their effectiveness;
∎ Manage and monitor the worker welfare team;
∎ Candidate should have sound knowledge on labor law, factories act, fire prevention & firefighting law & ILO convention-related on RMG sector in Bangladesh.
∎ The candidate should be capable to monitor training/ awareness sessions.
∎ Candidates should be able to handle the HR issues of a huge number of employees/workforce.
∎ The candidate should be able to be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Compliance & HR Department.
∎ The candidate should be able to obtain and institute Compliance standards and carry out regular assessment and analysis for individual Buyers & Compliance requirements.
∎ Candidates should be able to carry out any special duty assigned as and when required by the management for the interest of the organization.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must have experience working with major buyers.
∎ We are looking for a real responsible person who is honest and can handle his duty professionally.
∎ Must be very organized and fluent in English.
∎ Self-motivated and self-organized with a positive attitude.
∎ The incumbent should be dynamic and have a good personality.
∎ Possess a high degree of correspondence & analytical ability.
∎ Computer knowledge in E-mail, the Internet, Word, and Excel is a must with the need to produce reports for management and clients.
∎ Minimum 5 years working experience in a similar position.
∎ Special Note: Candidate must have experience in core compliance in the RMG industry.
