Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: Promote transition towards government stewardship and sustainability by working closely with government, Sub-Recipients (SR) and other stakeholders to achieve National TB Programme (NTP) targets. Coordinate with SRs and regular Monitoring & supervision to ensure programme performance according to national strategic plan.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strengthen government health system for integrated TB control and prevention services
∎ Promote government ownership and stewardship for implementing nationwide TB services
∎ Ensure optimum utilization of TB facilities in the government and NGOs settings
∎ Ensure SRs human resources with timely recruitment of vacant positions
∎ Monitor & supervise field activities extensively under the stewardship of NTP and local health authorities
∎ Support the field supervisors by developing necessary memos/circulars, internal guideline, work plan development focusing on NTP's strategies, guideline, priorities and approved budgets
∎ Undertake implementation and monitoring of various activities of the SR areas in TB control programme with taking responsibility for the SR budget-wise work plan.
∎ Regular field visit to monitor the performance of the programme and deliver timely field visit report to the SRs, and assist in improving programme quality.
∎ Periodic follow up of management action or audit observation and report accordingly.
∎ Responsible in coordinating with administrative authority and financial management of SRs in TB control programme.
∎ Attend monthly or quarterly meeting of SRs and ensure collection of monthly and quarterly TB report from the SR's in-order to provide necessary instruction, feedback and support to the SR's staff.
∎ Coordinate in checking of budget and expenditure of the programme and financial activities and take correct measures when sharing of irrelevant situation with the respective SR's.
∎ Coordination with GO/ NGO , SRs and other stakeholder for smooth functioning of programme operation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proficient in written and oral communication skills both in Bangla and English.
∎ Excellent on computer applications like MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point).
∎ Good in Conflict Management and Negotiations Skills
∎ Strong Presentation and Coordination skills
∎ Sound knowledge in National TB guideline, Project Management
∎ Adaptive, proactive, and collaborative.
∎ Strong team building and prioritisation skills
∎ 03- 06 years' experience in the relevant field . Experience in handling sub- recipient will get preference
