Job Responsibilities:
∎ Determining, negotiating and agreeing in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications.
∎ Specifying quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers.
∎ Investigating and setting standards for quality as per customer requirements ensuring that these are met.
∎ Ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level.
∎ Working with operating staff to establish procedures, standards for ensuring product quality.
∎ Ensuring that traffic light Chart system of line inspection system is installed & working.
∎ Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance of quality.
∎ Directing objectives to maximize profitability.
∎ Recording and analyzing statistical information of quality department and present to top management.
∎ Developing objective metrics for measuring Quality across all product categories and across all brand channels.
∎ Development specific Quality Control policies and standards for all product categories.
∎ Ensuring execution of all Quality standards and practices.
∎ Monitoring and checking in-line quality report, identify the problems correctly & take action to avoid in future.
∎ Plans and manages quality department activities in accordance with agreed upon budgets, timelines and goals.
∎ Creates yearly T&A calendar for Quality in alignment with overall Product Development calendar.
∎ Develop and owns all communication strategies, both internally and externally.
∎ Make sure all quality requirements are being followed in production & ensure on time shipment as per buyers quality level.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
∎ Garments.
∎ Incumbent should have working experience as a Manager/ Sr. Manager-Quality from any reputed Garment/ Apparel industry.
∎ Good team player, well-organized, initiative and detail-oriented.
∎ Excellent computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
∎ Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills.
∎ Excellent negotiation skill and quick decision making ability.
∎ Perfect proficiency to read, write and speak English and Bangla.
∎ Should able to work under pressure.
∎ Candidates with ASCM / APICS valid SCOR-p, CPIM, CSCP, CLTD certificates will be treated with highest priority.
Salary: Negotiable
