Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitor, appraise, and train the subordinates of the Quality Assurance Department.
∎ Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
∎ Oversee all product development processes to identify and assess deviations from quality standards.
∎ Conduct style-specific risk assessments to proactively address potential issues.
∎ Lead a team of quality inspectors, auditors, analysts, and technicians.
∎ Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish the proposed quality and reliability expectations of the finished product.
∎ Effectively interact with the merchandisers, technical, development, and production teams to maintain product quality; ensuring that targets are achieved.
∎ Responsible for the accuracy and timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices.
∎ Analyze quality data claims, returns, and provide quality advice to the concerned teams.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ The applicants must have at least 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years in the reputed buying house or a third-party inspection company;
∎ Up to date with the latest quality concepts (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.), tools, and best practices.
∎ Ability to handle multiple product categories (knit, woven, etc.)
∎ Should have knowledge of all aspects of quality control methods and practices, including AQL levels and other prevailing international standards.
∎ Excellent English communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
∎ Positive work ethics and a focus on results for assigned responsibilities.
∎ The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and clients is important.
∎ A commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to enhancing quality processes and practices is highly valued.
