Garments, Tannery/Footwear, Trading or Export/Import, Garments Accessories
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Research and analyze color and style trends for product development.
∎ Communicate trend information to the Product Development team via samples and trend boards.
∎ Maintain clear communication with vendors and factories throughout product development phases.
∎ Create footwear sketches and color concepts for seasonal presentations.
∎ Compile and distribute seasonal development information to partners and vendors.
∎ Ensure design integrity is maintained from concept to manufacturing.
∎ Coordinate, manage, and maintain seasonal materials, color standards, and presentation boards.
∎ Research and forecast market trends, materials, colors, and silhouettes.
∎ Prepare technical packages adhering to quality and testing standards.
∎ Develop graded specifications and construction standards.
∎ Apply color and graphic materials to assigned footwear categories.
∎ Proficiency in design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
∎ Work directly with factories in the product development process.
∎ Assist in creating presentations for design meetings with the Creative Director and buying teams.
∎ Organize vintage samples, prototypes, materials, and hardware submissions.
∎ Understand the needs of the global running consumer through consumer insights.
∎ Define and drive seasonal color and material strategy for various footwear categories.
∎ Lead color and material design processes for assigned product groups.
∎ Ensure consistent application of color and materials on products by setting and monitoring standards.
∎ Collaborate with the pricing department to ensure designs align with appropriate price ranges.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Expert knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, Shoe master, and InDesign, as well as traditional hands-on design techniques.
∎ Apparel Manufacturing experience.
∎ Footwear technical design experience.
∎ Ability to execute design packages with the translation of all details necessary for the factory to produce correct samples.
