Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in any discipline from any reputed organization; B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering preferred.
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: PGD in SCM
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Chemicals Procurement, Footwear, Home Apparels
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To co-ordinate and monitor all activities of the procurement functions.
∎ Participate and contribute in raw material planning and profitable functioning of the Company.
∎ Co-ordinate purchasing functions and ensure regular supply of right material at right quantity, at the right quality, at the right time and at the most economical price and terms.
∎ Establish and maintain sound relationships with suppliers and represent the company with professional competence.
∎ Make certain that the quality of materials received meet laid down specifications.
∎ Co-ordinate bulk buying of all major and common items such as PVC & Rubber Chemicals, PVC Upper materials, Textiles, Packing materials, Components from ABUs etc.
∎ Ensure standard procedures in purchasing functions are established in all sections and adherence to standards to be reviewed weekly.
∎ Maximize cost improvement initiatives and controls to bring in savings continuously.
∎ Discovering and partnering with trustworthy vendors and suppliers
∎ Determining quantity and timing of deliveries
∎ Any other assignment given by the management time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Residents in Uttara or Gazipur would be preferred
∎ Very good in Business analysis
∎ Self-motivated and energetic
∎ Well-groomed and well mannered
∎ Problem solving & decision making skill within shortest possible time
∎ Possess excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skill
∎ Able to work under pressure in a team with responsibility
Salary: Negotiable
