Educational Requirements:
∎ Post Graduate in any discipline
∎ B.S. c in Industrial and production Engineering will get preference.
∎ Skills Required: Creative Thinking, Production planning, Strong communication skills
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for overall operation of Planning Department.
∎ Sound and solid planning and follow up total production flow and balancing the production process to ensure optimum capacity utilization of the unit.
∎ Execute and monitor the production planning process including production order review, material shortage review, and inventory status.
∎ Figure out deviations and assist in making rectification to future production plans based on the differences between planned and actual production in the past plan period.
∎ Coordination with marketing and merchandising team, Buyers approval, Planning, Allocation, Shipment planning, Costing, Inter departmental issues and Administration etc.
∎ Total follow up from Yarn receiving to Finished Goods delivery.
∎ Coordinate activities with the Supply Chain organization and review material positions so that alternate solutions, if required, are developed to ensure on-time customer delivery.
∎ Bring sustainable efficiency improvements by identifying the bottlenecks and ensuring elimination of it.
∎ Drive improvements to the overall process efficiency and communication with key stakeholders
∎ Improving profitability by identifying cost reduction opportunities through Integrated Planning Information and analysis.
∎ Update information on key operational and cost parameters at every stage of the overall process.
∎ Participate in cross-functional teams supporting existing and new products from prototype to volume production.
∎ Provide necessary leadership and guidance to key employees and top performers through mentoring and identification of best practices to enhance performance efficiency.
∎ Co-ordinate with Sales & Marketing department for optimal pricing/production/lead time/shipment.
∎ Ensure optimum utilization of men and machines.
