Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: Under the supervision of the Senior Manager - Manager, Operations & Coordination will strengthen and enhance the coordination between Pooled Fund Localization (PFL) and the partner NGOs, local government agencies, local influential and local stakeholders support the PFL to organise any cross-learning sharing sessions or meetings at Cox`s Bazar and provide technical advice and provide support to the partner NGOs. The manager will assist to Senior Manager to coordinate and bridge between the NGO portfolios of the Pooled Fund and provide the administrative and financial management to the Pooled Fund. Additionally, the Manager of Operations & Coordination will assist the Senior Manager-Operations & Coordination in the overall project management.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordination:
∎ Assist the Senior Manager- Operations & Coordination in strengthening communications between the Pooled Fund Unit and partner NGOs to ensure appropriate programme management, programme implementation and sharing lessons learnt from catchment area to Pooled Fund Head office.
∎ Assist in coordinating and maintaining liaison among partner National Local Responders, Senior Manager-Operations & Coordination, Senior Manager-Partnerships & Capacity, Senior Management-MEAL, KM and Reporting, Senior Manager - Grants Management, Senior Manager - Gender & Safeguarding and Head of Pooled Fund to ensure smooth communication across the team in addition to keeping the team members updated.
∎ Assist the Senior Manager- Operations & Coordination to prepare regular updates for all Pooled Fund unit.
∎ Flag any relevant issues relating to partner NGOs with to the Senior Manager- Operations & Coordination.
∎ Provide support to coordinate with the finance management team and contracting arrangements with partner NGOs.
∎ Assist the Senior Manager- Operations & Coordination to coordinate with internal audit to ensure auditing of partner NGOs and ensure that audit feedback are timely and appropriately incorporated.
∎ Operations:
∎ Assist the Senior Manager, Operation & Coordination in identifying and propose local acquisitions, local procurement facilities and local utilisation of funds in alignment with the overall objective of PFL.
∎ Draft briefs, write-ups, best practices and successes for the NLRs and donor partners;
∎ Consolidate monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual progress reports and publish the reports in hard copy and/or online.
∎ Drafting performance/success criteria relating to portfolio management;
∎ Support the organisation of capacity development sessions for partner NGOs in Cox's Bazar.
∎ Support to donor meetings, consultations, strategic meetings and meetings with JRP, PLR partner NGOs, and any other meetings specific to PFL.
∎ Provide technical support to NGOs partners by:
∎ Keeping the Senior Manager- Operations & Coordination of Pooled Fund updated on project implementation, possible risks, breach of contractual obligation and/or violation of integrity.
∎ Work with the Senior Manager- Operations & Coordination in maintaining a good working relation with Camp-in-Charge (CiC), local government entities, local influential and local stakeholders to ensure that the operations are implemented unhindered. Additionally, support and transfer skills to NLRs in adopting a similar approach to make project implementation easier.

∎ Adaptive, Adoptive, Innovative, Frugal, Improvise and has the competency to communicate clearly and efficiently under pressure.
∎ Minimum 3 years experience of working with any NGO operating in Cox's Bazar in a similar role
