∎ JOB PURPOSE: This positon is responsible for providing both technical and operational support on monitoring and evaluation frontier of the pilot project. He/She will also ensure development and implementation of a sound MIS suitable for the pilot project BRAC to Basic initiative. He/she will ensure that the programme is well documented and evaluated on a regular basis to meet the critical goal of capturing and documenting the learnings, failure and best practices that evolves while the pilot project is run. A major purpose of this role is quick, proper and continuous evaluation of the pilot project, which will be crucial for decision-making during project scale-up.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Take the lead in developing and disseminating suitable monitoring tools, evaluation measures and strategy, as well as appropriate indicators customised for the pilot project.
∎ Coordinate with and support BRAC's central MEAL Department, BIGD and other entities to improve the projct's progress and quality
∎ Operationalise project database, MIS, processes, formats, tools, techniques etc to develop well structured, qualitative and effective information & reporting system, produce effective report according to the goal and objective of the pilot initiative
∎ Collect activity updates and reports from field implementation team regularly as per need for measuring outputs of the project activities
∎ Identify the knowledge management and communication needs of the programme and develop appropriate tools to collect, archive and retrieve project's qualitative and quantitative data for a sound MIS for the pilot project.
∎ Utilise MIS tools and M&E indicators to apture learnings of projects intervenions through meetings, workshops, case stories and community consultation to evaluate and continuously improve project service quality
∎ Undertake sporadic field visits to observe programme implementation, liaise closely with target groups and develop documents to capture project's impact on community
∎ Establish MIS for BRAC to Basic and reporting system along with preservation of data/report and ensure central monthly inventory report with proper documentation.
∎ Develop MEAL Plan and M&E framework and ensure timely to complete and accurate reporting as per guideline.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Good skill and experience in M&E Strategies, MIS Tools, Research Finding Analysis and Reporting
∎ Excellent Communication Skills (English and Bangla), Inter-personal and Leadership skills
∎ An excellent team player with good skills in team collaboration and high standards of personal conduct & Integrity
∎ Proficient in MS Office, SPSS, STATA, G-Suite
∎ Minimum 04 years of working experience in Monitoring and Evaluation. Experience in Development Sector will get preference.
