Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering, Masters degree in any discipline

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Garments, woven

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have direct contact with buyers and will be responsible for new marketing.
∎ Responsible for marketing and merchandising tasks for multiple new and existing accounts.
∎ Ensure collection of orders from buyers/buying houses directly.
∎ Skilled in independent costing and have technical knowledge on different woven items.
∎ Determine seasonal optimum order capacity to intake by maintaining close liaison with IE & planning officials.
∎ Fixation of appropriate price quotations to ensure sales orders.
∎ Monitor sample/product development & forward costing of all inquiries to buyers.
∎ Follow-up on purchase orders, costing sheets, shipment, etc.
∎ Follow budget and cost-effectively execute all activities.
∎ Strong command of supply chain / backward linkage management systems.
∎ Must have sound knowledge of all types of garment fabrics, yarns, trims, and accessories and source them for confirmed orders.
∎ Coordinate with Production, Quality, Commercial, and Logistics Departments to ensure on-time shipments.
∎ Maintain T&A properly.
∎ Daily production input follow-up.
∎ Ensure merchandisers are updating order status to all buyers.
∎ Formulate and implement strategic plans for merchandising team to achieve on-time & quality product shipment with proper coordination with all concerned departments with sole accountability and liability.
∎ Research and analyze market trends, competitors’ offerings, demographic demand shifts, and other information that may influence future marketing strategies.
∎ Identify areas for improvements in product offerings, sales tactics, marketing strategies, production target achievement, etc.
∎ Properly supervise and control overbooking hazards.
∎ Must maintain a pleasant leadership tactic to achieve shipment targets by keeping everyone happy through professionalism and with proper coordination within the merchandising team members.
∎ Reporting to management on all ongoing activities and issues on a routine basis.
∎ Any other tasks as assigned by the management from time to time.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must be experienced in Woven Factory.
∎ MUST BE A TEAM LEADER.
∎ MUST HAVE DIRECT BUYERS' CONTACTS.
∎ Can lead local & foreign buyer meetings independently.
∎ Self-driven, results-oriented & having good interpersonal relationships.
∎ Ability to interact professionally with a diverse population.
∎ (B. Sc. in Textile Engineering is preferable)

Salary: Tk. 75000 (Monthly)
