Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and execute IE strategies to improve factory efficiency, focusing on woven shirt production through optimized methods, line balancing, and NPT reduction.
∎ Lead layout redesigns and workflow improvements in sewing, cutting, and finishing areas, ensuring space utilization gain and smoother material flow.
∎ Conduct and validate time & motion studies and update SMVs for 100% of styles before bulk production, targeting accuracy to support planning and performance evaluation.
∎ Implement Lean tools across all production floors, drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
∎ Ensure achievement of monthly line and operator efficiency targets through real-time monitoring dashboards, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
∎ Collaborate closely with Production, Planning, Cutting, Quality, and Maintenance departments to ensure cohesive execution of production targets and KPIs.
∎ Report to top management with actionable insights through detailed dashboards and presentations covering operational diagnostics, productivity metrics, and cost-benefit analyses.
∎ One of the leading conglomerates in the garments industries of Bangladesh, is looking for “Deputy General Manager ( Industrial Engineering)” for one of its Woven factories (Woven Shirt) located at Gazipur. The incumbent must have initiative, experience and the drive to deliver high-quality results.
