Skills Required:

Responsibilities & Context:

Reporting Line: Director of Operations

Office location: BD Office

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with merchandising team and responsible for handling large amount of data entry for providing packing lists to the customer.

  • Proactively monitor/track and handle customer shipment routing requests

  • Ensure relevant documents are in place for custom declaration and timely shipment delivery.

  • Assist direct supervisor to resolve customer & supplier problems & complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Laison with Logistics team in Dubai, Hongkong & Pakistan and collect the shipment data for each shipment and prepare shipment tracker & give it to finance team for financial planning.

  • Preparation of LC summery report and give it to finance team for financial planning.

  • Prepare all the documentation related LC Document presentation to bank promptly, correctly & Timely.

  • Proactively manage the entire process of letters of credit from financing to cash collection to ensure the optimization of cash flow and decrease of financial risks.

  • Review and follow-up regarding bank presentations to ensure payments are issued promptly and correctly.

  • Establish and maintain communication with the appropriate individuals throughout the process (Merchandiser, Logistics, Finance, Merchandising Managers, Customers, Banks)

  • Review all bank discrepancies to determine whether they are acceptable with regards to documentation required for shipping, customs clearance, cash collection etc

  • Review letter of credit documents to determine compliance with international and company standards.

  • Maintains the data and record entry in the L/C tracker.

  • Maintain and update the shipment tracker such as Include (ETA, ETD, Shipment delay, LC payment collection maturity date, Customer payment and supplier payment due date, Incoterm, Payment term, Payment status & Document status etc. )

  • Courier shipping document to Customer. Track, monitor & ensuring timely updates to customer.

  • Follow up with customer for payment.

  • Help & support project Manager for Oracle NetSuite ERP implementation related to the logistics requirement.
