As part of our expansion plan, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Product Sourcing Expert who has strong expertise in import & export operations and e-commerce product sourcing to support our long-term growth strategy.

Job Responsibilities

Product Sourcing & Vendor Management

• Identify profitable and high-demand products suitable for the Bangladeshi e-commerce market

• Source products locally and internationally through manufacturers, wholesalers, and suppliers

• Negotiate pricing, MOQ, quality standards, and delivery timelines with suppliers

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with reliable vendors

Import & Export Operations

• Handle end-to-end import and export processes, including documentation and compliance

• Coordinate with freight forwarders, clearing & forwarding (C&F) agents, and customs authorities

• Ensure timely shipment, customs clearance, and cost-effective logistics solutions

• Maintain proper import/export records and documentation

Market Research & Product Analysis

• Conduct market research to identify trending products and new sourcing opportunities

• Analyze competitor pricing, product quality, and sourcing strategies

• Evaluate product profitability, demand potential, and risk factors

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing, operations, and inventory teams to align sourcing with sales strategy

• Ensure product availability, stock planning, and smooth supply chain operations

• Support product listing, pricing strategy, and launch planning

Reporting & Cost Optimization

• Prepare sourcing reports, cost breakdowns, and supplier performance analysis

• Optimize sourcing and logistics costs without compromising quality

• Ensure compliance with company policies and import/export regulations

Requirements

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field

• MBA or professional certification in Supply Chain / International Trade will be an added advantage

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in product sourcing, import/export, or e-commerce operations

• Practical experience in international sourcing (China, India, or other markets preferred)

• Hands-on experience with customs procedures, HS codes, and shipping terms (FOB, CIF, etc.)
