Responsibilities & Context:
Take ownership of category P&L and ensure profitability.
Lead overall category performance and achieve business targets.
Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and industry data for decision-making.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors for better pricing and service quality.
Ensure optimum ordering and product availability to meet demand.
Manage category assortment, merchandising, and product range optimization.
Collaborate with suppliers to expand product categories and variations.
Develop exit strategies for underperforming products.
Work closely with Sales & Marketing teams for business growth.
Implement pricing strategies to maximize margins and profitability.
Ensure timely product delivery and maintain optimum stock levels through proper demand planning.
Monitor SKU-wise sales and ensure proper display and merchandising execution.
Negotiate with vendors to improve margins and achieve volume targets.
Execute promotional strategies using demand forecasting to increase sales and profit.
