Responsibilities & Context:

Job Purpose:
The position holder will lead the entire procurement department of Shamadhan Services Ltd.
Key Accountabilities:
- Design and execute the entire procurement strategy across the organization:
- Develop and implement SCM strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives and growth plans.
- Forecast procurement needs for IT hardware, software licenses, network equipment, office assets, and operational services.
- Ensure supply chain continuity to support 24/7 PSP operations.
- Procurement & Vendor Management:
- Lead strategic sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Ensure transparent, competitive, and compliant procurement processes.
- Manage long-term supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and service reliability.
- Regulatory & Compliance Management:
- Ensure SCM activities comply with Bangladesh Bank guidelines, internal policies, and audit requirements.
- Support internal, external, and regulatory audits by providing required SCM documentation.
- Mitigate procurement and supply chain risks through proper controls and monitoring.
- Inventory & Asset Management:
- Oversee inventory planning, tracking, and control for IT assets, office equipment, and operational materials.
- Ensure accurate asset registers and periodic physical verification.
- Coordinate with IT and Admin teams for asset lifecycle management.
. Cost Control & Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage SCM budgets in coordination with Finance.
- Monitor procurement spend and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
Provide regular cost and variance analysis reports to management.
- Process Improvement & Digitalization:
- Introduce process automation and ERP/SCM system improvements where applicable.
- Improve procurement cycle time and service delivery through continuous process optimization.
- Team Leadership & Stakeholder Coordination:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the SCM and procurement team.
- Set KPIs, monitor performance, and ensure skill development.
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and priorities.

Qualifications & Experiences:
- BBA major in SCM/
B.Sc. in CSE. MBA major in Fin will have an advantage
- Professional certification of CIPS/CSCP is preferred
- 7-10 years of professional experience in SCM/procurement which out of 3 years in any MFS/ISP or in fintech is mandatory
