• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Management, Commerce, Agriculture, Animal Science, or a relevant discipline from a recognized university.

• Professional training/certification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Inventory Management will be an advantage.

• 2 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based Startup

• Age 22 to 35 years
• Only Male

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or commercial operations.

• Experience in the animal feed, poultry, livestock, fisheries, food processing, agro-processing, or manufacturing industry will be preferred.

• Candidates with practical experience in sourcing feed ingredients/raw materials and managing supplier relationships will receive preference.

• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and supplier management skills.

• Good understanding of procurement processes, quotation analysis, comparative statements, purchase orders, and supplier evaluation.

• Knowledge of local markets and the sourcing of feed ingredients and industrial materials.

• Strong follow-up, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.

• Good command of MS Excel, MS Word, and other office applications.

• Ability to analyze market prices and identify cost-effective procurement opportunities.

• Strong sense of integrity, accountability, confidentiality, and professional ethics.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet procurement deadlines.

NDP Agro Industries Ltd. is looking for a dynamic, responsible, and result-oriented professional to join its procurement team for NDP Feed, an animal nutrition and feed manufacturing business producing Cattle, Poultry, and Fish Feed.

Position: Officer Procurement (NDP Feed)

Job Context: The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day procurement activities for raw materials, packaging materials, spare parts, consumables, and other goods and services required for smooth and uninterrupted feed factory operations. The position will ensure timely procurement, competitive pricing, appropriate quality, proper documentation, and effective coordination with suppliers and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute procurement activities based on production plans, inventory levels, approved requisitions, and operational requirements.

• Source and procure feed raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, spare parts, machinery-related items, consumables, and other required materials.

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and maintain an updated supplier database.

• Collect and compare quotations from potential suppliers and prepare comparative statements for management approval.

• Negotiate with suppliers regarding price, quality, delivery schedule, payment terms, and other commercial conditions.

• Ensure timely availability of raw materials and other materials to avoid disruption of factory production.

• Coordinate with Production, Store, Quality Control, Accounts & Finance, and other relevant departments regarding procurement requirements.

• Monitor market prices and availability of major feed ingredients and other critical materials.

• Conduct supplier performance monitoring based on quality, price, delivery, service, and compliance.

• Follow up on purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials according to agreed specifications and schedules.

• Verify procurement documents, purchase orders, delivery challans, invoices, and other relevant records.

• Ensure proper procurement documentation and maintain accurate records in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

• Support quality and quantity verification of procured materials in coordination with the Store and Quality Control teams.

• Monitor inventory requirements and coordinate timely replenishment of critical materials.

• Assist in developing procurement plans, budgets, and cost-saving initiatives.

• Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality and supply continuity.

• Ensure procurement activities are conducted ethically, transparently, and in accordance with company policies.

• Prepare regular procurement status, supplier, price, and market analysis reports for management.

• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the higher authority.
