• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in factory/production operations, preferably in the animal feed, poultry, livestock, fisheries, animal nutrition, food processing, or agro-processing industry.

• At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or senior supervisory position.

• Candidates with proven experience in feed mill production, factory operations, machinery management, quality control, manpower management, and cost optimization will be preferred.

NDP Agro Industries Ltd., is a concern of National Development Programme (NDP) and a growing organization engaged in Animal Nutrition & Feed Manufacturing (Cattle, Poultry & Fish Feed), is looking for a dynamic, experienced and result-oriented professional for the following position:

Position: Factory Manager (NDP Feed)

Job Context: The Factory Manager will be responsible for managing and supervising the overall operations of the feed factory, ensuring efficient production, quality, cost control, maintenance, manpower management, workplace safety, and compliance. The incumbent will ensure smooth and uninterrupted factory operations while maintaining production targets and product quality in accordance with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and supervise the overall production and factory operations of cattle, poultry, and fish feed.

• Prepare production plans based on sales forecasts, raw material availability, inventory, and production capacity.

• Ensure achievement of daily, monthly, and annual production targets while maintaining product quality.

• Monitor production processes and ensure efficient utilization of raw materials, machinery, manpower, and other resources.

• Ensure proper operation, preventive maintenance, and timely repair of production machinery and equipment.

• Monitor raw material receiving, storage, handling, production, finished goods, and inventory management.

• Ensure compliance with established production standards, quality control procedures, and food/feed safety requirements.

• Coordinate with Sales & Marketing, Procurement, Accounts & Finance, Quality Control, and other relevant departments for smooth factory operations.

• Monitor production costs, wastage, operational efficiency, and take appropriate measures to minimize unnecessary costs.

• Lead, supervise, and develop factory personnel, including production, maintenance, quality control, store, and support staff.

• Ensure effective workforce planning, shift management, attendance, discipline, and performance management.

• Maintain a safe, clean, hygienic, and productive working environment within the factory.

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, organizational policies, occupational health and safety requirements, and environmental standards.

• Identify operational problems and implement timely corrective and preventive measures.

• Prepare and submit regular production, inventory, maintenance, manpower, and operational performance reports to higher management.

• Support management in capacity expansion, process improvement, new product development, and operational efficiency initiatives.

• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the higher authority.

• Salary consolidated BDT 40,000-50,000 TK. per month depending on qualifications and experience. Salary may be negotiable for extensive qualified candidates.

• Festival bonuses (2), mobile allowance, travel allowance (TA/DA).
