Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Academic background in Business, Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related discipline will be preferred.

• Age At least 22 years

Experience Requirements

• Relevant experience in delivery, logistics, dispatch, warehouse, transport coordination or similar operations will be preferred.
• Experience in steel, manufacturing, construction materials or a related industry will be an added advantage.

Additional Requirements

• Good coordination, communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate reports, records and delivery documentation.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, email and basic computer applications.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deliveries within deadlines.
• Basic understanding of transport documentation, VAT challans and delivery procedures.
• Willingness to work at the factory and coordinate deliveries beyond regular working hours when operationally required.

Department: Delivery

Job Location: Factory, Gazipur.

Reports To: Concerned Department Head / Management

Job Purpose

To ensure accurate stock reporting, timely delivery scheduling and execution, proper transport coordination, documentation and customer communication for finished steel products, while maintaining compliance and complete delivery records.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily rod stock reports by size and ensure stock information is accurate and up to date.
• Prepare and execute delivery schedules based on approved Delivery Orders and instructions from the Sales Team.
• Ensure bend and straight rods are properly arranged and delivered according to customer requirements and Delivery Orders.
• Maintain accurate Daily Delivery Statement Reports and follow up on all pending deliveries.
• Coordinate with the Sales Team, customers/site offices, transport agencies and concerned departments to ensure timely and successful delivery.
• Arrange suitable delivery vehicles and verify required legal documents, including registration, fitness, route permit, insurance and driving licence.
• Ensure availability and deployment of escorts for district-wise deliveries when required.
• Prepare and ensure issuance of Delivery Challans and VAT Challans for each applicable delivery.
• Arrange rod samples requested by customers and coordinate dispatch with delivery orders or by courier.
• Immediately report failed or incomplete deliveries to the Sales Team and customer, including reasons and required follow-up actions.
• Maintain proper records of delivery orders, challans, vehicle information, customer confirmations, failed deliveries and other delivery-related documents.
• Perform any other delivery-related duties assigned by management from time to time.
