Responsibilities & Context:
Job Purpose :
To manage end-to-end HR operations while leading, learning and development initiatives to build a skilled, compliant, and high-performing workforce in line with PSP regulatory and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1.HR Operations:
- Oversee daily HR operations including attendance, leave, payroll coordination, employee records, and HR documentation.
- Ensure HR processes comply with Bangladesh Labor Law, Bangladesh Bank guidelines, and internal HR policies.
- Manage employee lifecycle activities: onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits processes.
- Maintain accurate HRMIS and employee databases with regular audits.
- Support disciplinary processes, grievance handling, and employee relations issues.
2. Learning & Development:
- Identify training needs through performance reviews, competency gaps, and business requirements.
- Design and implement annual training plans, including compliance, soft skills, leadership, and functional training.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs, workshops, and e-learning initiatives.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and prepare post-training reports.
- Support succession planning and career development initiatives.
Organizational Development (OD):
- Design and implement organizational structures, job grading, and role alignment frameworks.
- Lead performance management systems including KPI/OKR design, appraisal cycles, and performance reviews.
- Develop competency frameworks and career progression models for different job families.
- Support manpower planning, succession planning, and talent review processes.
3. Policy, Process & Compliance:
- Develop, review, and update HR policies, compensation manuals, and OD-related SOPs.
- Ensure HR practices align with PSP operational requirements and regulatory expectations.
- Support internal and external audits related to HR, payroll, and compliance.
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and analysis related to C&B and OD metrics.
4. Stakeholder Management & Advisory:
- Act as an HR business partner to department heads on compensation, performance, and workforce planning matters.
- Provide advisory support on promotions, role changes, transfers, and organizational restructuring.
- Handle employee queries related to compensation, benefits, and performance systems.
5.Reporting & Coordination:
- Prepare HR operational and training reports for management and regulators when required.
- Coordinate with department heads to align HR initiatives with business goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- BBA/MBA in HRM, Management, or relevant discipline.
- 5–7 years of HR experience, including HR operations and L&D.
- Experience in PSP, fintech, telecom, or regulated industries preferred.
