A Master’s degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) from a recognized university.

A major in Human Resource Management (HRM) is mandatory.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment assignments and meet tight deadlines.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR information systems.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary

Shakti Foundation for Disadvantaged Women is seeking an experienced, proactive, and results-oriented HR professional for the position of Deputy General Manager (Recruitment) to lead and manage recruitment and selection activities across all programs and departments of the organization. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring timely recruitment, effective workforce planning, robust candidate verification, onboarding, and deployment of employees in line with organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute recruitment activities to fill vacant positions across all programs and departments in accordance with approved monthly and annual manpower requirements.

  • Develop interview plans, coordinate recruitment schedules, and facilitate interviews to ensure the timely selection of qualified candidates.

  • Design and implement competitive, competency-based written tests and other selection assessments to attract and recruit capable employees.

  • Ensure comprehensive background checks and verification of candidates at all levels, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and compliance.

  • Coordinate and arrange timely job readyness training for selected candidates in collaboration with relevant departments and programs.

  • Ensure effective onboarding and orientation of newly recruited employees.

  • Manage employee placement, transfer, and related administrative activities across different programs, departments, branches, and field offices.

  • Coordinate the publication of recruitment advertisements through newspapers, Bdjobs, and other appropriate recruitment channels, as instructed by management.

  • Prepare, maintain, and regularly update monthly recruitment reports, recruitment databases, and other relevant HR records.

  • Monitor recruitment progress against manpower plans, identify recruitment challenges, and recommend improvements to enhance recruitment efficiency and quality.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational HR policies, recruitment procedures, and applicable employment regulations.

  • Coordinate with program heads, departmental heads, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure effective workforce planning and recruitment support.
