Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

We are looking for a dedicated and energetic HR & Admin professional to support the day-to-day operations of our power plant in Chattogram. In this role, you will provide HR generalist support and administrative support to the plant.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment and selection process of the plant, including CV screening, interview scheduling, and coordination.

  • Verify documents of joining employees and complete onboarding and joining formalities.

  • Assist in conducting orientation for new joiners at the plant.

  • Maintain and update employee files, HRIS/database, and personnel records.

  • Maintain daily attendance, leave, overtime, and shift records, and provide inputs for payroll processing.

  • Follow up on daily HR activities as per company policy.

  • Assist in handling employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and counseling.

  • Coordinate training programs as per the Training Needs Analysis (TNA), including logistics, attendance, and records.

  • Support the performance appraisal process and assist with exit formalities for departing employees.

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with the Bangladesh Labour Act 2006 (amended 2018), the Factories Act, and other related regulations.

  • Prepare regular HR reports and MIS for management.

  • Support general administration, office management, and logistics at the plant.

  • Coordinate the transport pool, security, housekeeping, and procurement of office supplies.

  • Assist in managing canteen, dormitory, and other staff welfare facilities.

  • Support the HSE team in health, safety, fire, and environmental compliance activities.

  • Assist in liaison with government offices, law enforcement agencies, and regulatory bodies.

  • Assist in company license renewals, registrations, and legal documentation.

  • Maintain vendor and service-provider records, contracts, and bill processing for admin services.
