Responsibilities & Context:
Compensation Management:
Oversee the administration of monthly salary and regular review of salary structures, pay scales, and grading frameworks to ensure internal equity and external market competitiveness.
Manage employee benefits programs (e.g., health insurance, life insurance, retirement/provident funds, and wellness initiatives) in alignment with organizational budget and statutory requirements. Ensure disbursement of different kinds of employee loans i.e. personal loan, home loan, motor bike loan etc.
Lead the annual salary review, bonus allocation, and merit increment processes.
2.Performance Management:
Drive the execution of the organization's performance appraisal framework, ensuring departmental goals cascade effectively into individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Facilitate periodic performance reviews (mid-year and annual evaluations) and calibration sessions to maintain objectivity and fairness across ratings.
Guide managers through the design and monitoring of Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) for underperforming staff and track relevant performance attrition benchmarks.
Analyse performance data to identify talent trends, high potentials, and capability gaps, feeding insights back into the organizational learning and development pipeline.
Oversee overall recognition programs of the organization.
3.People Operations & HR Service Delivery:
Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee lifecycle administration. Ensure all people operations strictly comply with local labor laws, regulatory standards, and internal corporate governance frameworks.
Maintain robust employee records and leverage Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to automate workflows, coordinate with development team for upgradation of HRIS.
Act as a primary escalation point for operational employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary procedures, ensuring consistent and empathetic resolution.
4.Collaboration and Strategy
Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) (where applicable) and other stakeholders to align rewards and performance initiatives with the specific needs of different business units.
Prepare and monitor the annual operational budget for rewards, benefits, and HR operations. Continuously audit operational workflows to eliminate bottlenecks, digitize manual touchpoints, and enhance the overall employee experience.
Analyse attrition data and ensure retention strategy in coordination with stakeholders
