Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

We are looking for a future leader for our Power Plant HR who will maintain and enhance the standard operation of the HR department. In this role, the employee will provide HR Generalist Services, Support to Organization Development Activities and provide Administrative Support to the plant.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall HR and administrative activities of a HFO based power plant at Chattogram.

  • Conduct and coordinate recruitment & selection process of plant.

  • Manage and coordinate interview & selection process at plant.

  • Verify all documents in relation with joining employees at Plant.

  • Provide orientation at the plant side for new joiners.

  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems.

  • Follow up daily HR activities as organization demands as per the company policy.

  • Maintain and update employee files, HRIS/database, and personnel records.

  • Handle employee grievance, disciplinary issues, and counseling.

  • Ensure proper compliance with Labor Law 2006 (amended 2018), factories act, and related regulations.

  • Develop and coordinate training programs of plant as per the TNA.

  • Coordinate the performance appraisal systems of the company.

  • Lead the exit formalities for the leaving employees.

  • Supervise general administration, office management, and logistics support.

  • Manage transport pool, security, housekeeping, and office supplies.

  • Provide necessary support to HSE officer to ensure health, safety, fire, and environmental compliance (HSE).

  • Oversee canteen, dormitory, and other staff welfare facilities.

  • Maintain liaison with government offices, law enforcement agencies, and regulatory bodies.

  • Handle company license renewal, registration, and legal documentation.
