Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in EEE, Mechanical, Marine
∎ MBA in Management will be an added advantage

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain regular and cordial liaison with the BPDB, NLDC officials for efficient evacuation of power as per the PPA.
∎ Ensure proper operation and timely requisition of HFO and LFO and needful action for their smooth flow of fuel so that there is always 15 days storage of HFO available to run the plant at its optimum capacity.
∎ Plan and issue Work Schedules to ensure continual and safe operation of the plant.
∎ Assign, check and monitor the daily work assignments as done by the Maintenance team.
∎ Monitor the Daily Work Activities by setting priorities for both the Operations and Maintenance needs on multi-process or multi-facilities basis.
∎ Coordinate and monitor the Planned Maintenance Program for accurate and timely completion.
∎ Inspect the completed works for quality assurance.
∎ Respond to unforeseen operational and maintenance events and take control of the situation.
∎ Prepare operational report for regulatory and budgetary purpose.
∎ Identify the operational and maintenance barriers and problems and take appropriate actions to overcome.
∎ Forward letters, notes or reports to the Head Office or other outside organizations on required subjects as instructed by the Head Office.
∎ Motivate the employees to work as team to establish the objectives and expectations and develop action plan and strategies to accomplishing them.
∎ Motivate the employees to develop their notion for capacity building and increased value through achieving excellence in works for the organization and themselves.
∎ Ensure the welfare of the employees and put forward the legitimate needs to the Director /Head Office as required.
∎ Establish and maintain open communication with work team members about any relevant issues affecting them and their role in the company.
∎ Promote team involvement and participation in setting goals, priorities, and strategies for safe, efficient and effective plant/facility operations.
∎ Final Reporting Officer of the employees for Performance Evaluation and onward sending to the Head Office.
∎ Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, lower down times, streamline work progress to provide quality and flawless customer services.
∎ Monitor and coordinate the consulting agencies for development activities the newly introduced of HSE compliance of the plant.
∎ Preside over the Total Quality Management (TQM) Meeting as proposed by the Head Office.
∎ Oversee petty cash fund for the emergency requirement of expenditure of the plant.
∎ Monitor Generation/Sales and report regularly to the Head Office.
∎ Monitor Overall safety and security of the plant.
∎ Operate and maintain the Power Plant in a manner to achieve the monthly Plant Factor and Availability of the Plant as per the PPA.
∎ Maintain healthy relations and continuous contacts with company's customers, concerned organizations, administrative and Law enforcing authority of the government of the area.
∎ Maintain regular and effective liaison and feedback with the Equipment Supplier and Maintenance Service providers.
∎ Plan for spares and material requirement and maintain strict inventory control.
∎ Provide yearly operation and maintenance budget estimates to Head Office.
∎ Yearly planning of training for the plant personnel.
∎ Provide requirement and recommendation for the human resource management.
∎ Ensure discipline of the personnel of the plant.
∎ Ensure Fire Fighting Drill quarterly/monthly participated by all the employees of the plant.
∎ Ensure compliance with all of countries' applicable laws related to the plant.
∎ Read and consult all the Operational & Maintenance Manuals of the plant's machinery with an objective of attaining in professional excellence.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 10 years of practical experience in power plant among which minimum 5 years experience in HFO Engine power plant of not less than 50MW as Plant Manager/ Deputy Plant Manager or similar position
∎ Candidate should have good knowledge in Auto CAD and project related drawing and design, plant layout etc.
∎ Candidate should have sound knowledge on auxiliary used in power plant and selection of equipment based on equipment type, made, performance.
∎ Candidate should have sound communication skills with equipment supplier/vendors to get the job done as desired by the Management.
∎ Candidate should have knowledge of commissioning equipment protocol and their handover/takeover, warranty claim and punch list claims.
∎ Candidates should have skills and capabilities to operate and maintain a HFO Engine power plant independently and be capable of taking full responsibility of the plant.
∎ Candidate should have knowledge on contract agreement, fuel consumption calculation, bunkering, spare parts and outage.
∎ Candidates should have knowledge and training on occupational health & safety, fire fighting and environmental management system.
∎ Candidates should have good knowledge and experience on HFO & Lubricating oil handling & analysis.
∎ Candidate should be capable in root cause analysis and troubleshooting of Mechanical/Electrical problems.
∎ Candidate should have knowledge on PLC & Pneumatic Control System.
∎ Candidate should be experienced in commercial, external affairs, public relations, safety and security matters of power plants.
∎ Candidates should be experienced in spares and store management.
∎ Candidate should have good communication, interpersonal relationship, teamwork, leadership skills.
∎ Candidate should have good command in English both oral and written, computer applications especially in MS office and e-mail communication.
