Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or any relevant discipline from a reputed university.

  • Strong negotiation and supplier-management skills.

  • Experience in procurement and supply-chain processes.

  • Good knowledge in Garments/Textile materials and accessories.

  • Excellent typing skills both English & Bengali.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Bengali.

  • Experience with ERP/procurement software is preferred.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Prepare and execute procurement plans based on production requirements, purchase requisitions, inventory levels, and approved budgets.

  • Source and procure raw materials, trims, accessories, packaging materials, factory consumables, spare parts, office supplies, and other required items.

  • Ensure timely procurement to avoid production interruption or shipment delays.

  • Collect quotations and conduct price and commercial comparisons.

  • Negotiate price, payment terms, lead time, MOQ, quality, and delivery conditions with suppliers.

  • Obtain competitive quotations from qualified suppliers.

  • Maintain an updated supplier database and supplier performance records.

  • Develop alternative suppliers for critical materials to minimize supply risks.

  • Conduct cost analysis and market-price comparisons.

  • Review Purchase Requisitions (PR) and prepare Purchase Orders (PO) according to approved requirements.

  • Maintain proper procurement documentation and records.

  • Coordinate with Planning, Production, Store, Merchandising, Commercial, Finance, and other relevant departments.

  • Monitor material delivery schedules against production plans.

  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, buyer requirements, and applicable laws and regulations.

  • Any other assignment given by the management time to time
