Experience:
Masters of Social Science, Environment science or Equivalent.
Diploma (PGD) in Compliance and/or a related field preferred.
Certification in Compliance Management will be added an advantage.
The applicants should have vast knowledge on Bangladesh Labor Law (2006, 2013 & 2018) including amendment rules & regulation.
Strong knowledge of WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX, SCAN, GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS, Buyer COC (Best seller, next, Primark, Wal-Mart, JC penny, etc.), Better work requirements.
Experience in handling social and technical audits.
Grievance handling & conflict resolution.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure.
Good team player, well organized having good initiative & detail oriented.
Depth Knowledge on all kind of Social Compliance audit, Health & Safety and Environmental standard.
Conduct internal compliance audit to all respective departments & ensure BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, SCAN/ C-TPAT, GOTS, FCS, OCS, GRS, RCS Audit & other EU, UK, USA buyer’s requirements.
Prepare the CAPs against the buyer`s audit report with the factory Compliance team and send the CAP to the corporate team; prepare management reports regarding compliance operations and progress & supervise the compliance Module on Platform software.
Check & review all kinds of compliance-related activities by the cross-functional department.
Monitor and implement social, ethical, environmental compliance and RSC/Nirapon initiatives.
Conduct training & guide the employees to understand compliance, Hazard Identification & do the needful Risk Assessment.
All Layout plan updates & approval, and visit factory premises to identify and resolve any gaps or mismatches related to the compliance requirement issues.
Communicate with the concerned authority or personnel regarding any requirements & update of compliance rules & regulation, along with factory status, and oversee all kinds of third-party certificates, factory license & documentation updates regarding factory compliance.
Monitor and ensure implementation of health, safety, and environmental standards.
Review audit findings, prepare Corrective Action Plans (CAP), and ensure timely closure of all non-compliances.
Liaise with DIFE, Department of Labor, Factory Inspectorate, Fire Service, and other authorities
Communicate with the concerns in Head Office for their needs in respect of HR, & Compliance issues.
Liaison with merchandising, production, QA & all other Departments in order to coordinate with buyers` visit and take all necessary steps for facing the buyers/Govt. and compliance audit.
Maintain excellent industrial relations between the workers, floor staffs & the top management of the company.
Assist Management for effective execution of Compliance functions of the factory.
Any other job as assigned by the management.
