Inbound and Receiving

• Receive supplier goods against purchase orders and delivery challans.

• Check quantity, quality, expiry dates, and damage, and prepare the GRN.

• Raise claims with suppliers immediately for any transit damage.

Storage and Inventory

• Organize products by rack and bin location.

• Maintain separate stock, orders and challans for Rosod and Mudi.

• Run regular cycle counts and a full monthly stock count, reconciled with the system.

• Share items reaching reorder level with the Purchase team.

Expiry and Damage Control

• Strictly follow FEFO (first expiry, first out).

• Record the expiry date of every batch in the system or register.

• Send near-expiry lists to management and stores at 90, 60 and 30 days before expiry.

• Keep rice and lentil sacks on pallets and away from walls to prevent moisture damage.

• Store soap and detergents separately from food items; keep oil cartons within safe stacking height.

• Ensure regular pest and rodent control, and check the roof and ventilation.

• Maintain a damage register and submit a monthly loss and write-off report.

Dispatch and Delivery

• Supervise store-wise picking, packing and loading.

• Ensure every dispatch leaves with correct challans and documents.

• Plan delivery routes and vehicle schedules for on-time delivery.

• Receive, segregate, and report damaged or expired returns from stores.

Team, Safety and Reporting

• Assign work, track attendance, and train the assistant and labor, especially on safe handling.

• Ensure CCTV monitoring, theft prevention, fire safety, and a clean warehouse.

• Submit daily stock and dispatch reports and monthly reconciliation to management.

• Coordinate with Purchase, Accounts, and store managers so no store runs out of stock.
