Responsibilities & Context:
  • Manage the complete contractor management process, including contractor selection, onboarding, work orders, agreements, performance monitoring, and closure.
  • Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Procurement, Accounts, and Legal teams to ensure smooth contractor operations.
  • Assist in preparing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, work orders, BOQs, rates, terms, and conditions with contractors.
  • Monitor contractor performance, work progress, quality, cost and compliance with agreed contractual terms.
  • Evaluate contractor quotations, rates and commercial proposals and support cost-effective decision-making.
  • Identify contractual, commercial and operational risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Ensure contractors comply with company policies, project requirements, safety standards and applicable laws/regulations.
  • Maintain proper records of contracts, work orders, bills, variation orders, claims and contractor performance.
  • Resolve contractor-related issues, disputes and payment-related matters in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Prepare regular reports on contractor performance, cost, progress, pending issues and contract status for management review.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with contractors, consultants, project teams and other stakeholders.
  • Support the development and improvement of contractor management policies, procedures and SOPs.
