• Freezer Placement Targets: % growth in available freezer units across designated locations.
• Cost Efficiency: Negotiate co-investment/rebate percentages, and reduced unit procurement costs.
• Up-time & Maintenance SLAs: % of freezer fleet operating with zero downtime/temperature breaches.
• Category ROI: Sales growth per freezer unit vs. installation and operational cost.

1. Commercial Negotiations & Deal Structuring

• Take full ownership of end-to-end commercial negotiations with suppliers, brands for freezer deployment and co-investment models.

• Negotiate trade terms, listing fees, space rental/display allowances, volume rebates, and shared capex/opex models for freezer installations.

• Secure exclusive or primary branding/placement rights inside vendor-provided freezers across target retail channels.

2. Freezer Capacity & Infrastructure Expansion

• Develop and execute freezer placement strategies to guarantee cold-chain capacity for growing frozen food SKUs.

• Partner with category management and operations teams to forecast freezer space requirements by store format/region.

• Establish clear Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with suppliers and equipment vendors regarding freezer uptime, temperature compliance, repair response times, and unit replacements.

3. Vendor Relationship & Asset Management

• Oversee vendor scorecard management covering freezer delivery schedules, maintenance compliance, and energy-efficiency standards.

• Conduct periodic audit reviews of deployed freezer units to verify product compliance, branding alignment, and planogram adherence.

• Resolve commercial or operational disputes regarding freezer ownership, maintenance costs, and broken cold-chain liabilities.

4. Category Performance & ROI Analysis

• Evaluate Return on Investment (ROI) and sales lift per linear foot/cubic foot of added freezer space.

• Explore freezer importing options.

• Collaborate with Category Managers to ensure optimal product mix inside allocated freezer units to avoid stockouts or underutilization.

• Analyze market trends, equipment cost benchmarks, and energy-consumption metrics to minimize total cost of ownership (TCO).
