Experience:

Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
Experience with ERP, SAP, Oracle, or other inventory management systems.

Understanding of warehouse safety standards and material handling procedures.
Ability to prepare inventory reports, stock analysis, and management reports.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.

Experience
10–12 years of experience in Store, Warehouse, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain Operations.
Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory position.
Experience in manufacturing, industrial machinery, textile, garments, engineering, FMCG, or similar industries will be preferred.
Job Context
We are looking for a highly experienced, organized, and result-oriented Store Manager to oversee all store and inventory operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient inventory control, proper material handling, warehouse management, stock accuracy, and timely distribution of goods while maintaining compliance with company policies and operational standards.
The ideal candidate should have proven experience in managing industrial or manufacturing stores, strong leadership skills, and expertise in inventory planning, warehouse operations, and ERP-based inventory management systems.
Job Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and supervise the overall operations of the Store Department.
Ensure accurate receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, and issuance of raw materials, spare parts, machinery, finished goods, and other inventory items.
Maintain optimum inventory levels to support uninterrupted business operations.
Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures to minimize stock loss and wastage.
Monitor daily stock movements and ensure proper documentation of all store transactions.
Maintain accurate inventory records through ERP or inventory management software.
Conduct regular physical stock verification, cycle counts, and annual inventory audits.
Reconcile physical inventory with system records and investigate discrepancies.
Coordinate with Procurement, Commercial, Production, Sales, Accounts, and Logistics Departments for timely material availability.
Ensure proper labeling, coding, stacking, and storage of materials following safety standards.
Monitor inventory aging and recommend disposal or utilization of slow-moving and obsolete stock.
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inventory and store performance reports.
Supervise, train, and evaluate store personnel to improve operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during inventory verification and stock audits.
Optimize warehouse space utilization and improve overall store efficiency.
Ensure workplace safety, cleanliness, and proper housekeeping within the warehouse.
Monitor inventory KPIs, including stock accuracy, inventory turnover, stock aging, and order fulfillment.
Resolve inventory-related issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by Management.
