Education:
    • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related discipline.

  • Professional certification in Supply Chain or Procurement will be considered an added advantage.

  • 1–3 years of relevant procurement experience.

  • Experience in hospital, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or FMCG procurement will be preferred.

Responsibilities & Context:

Position Summary

The Executive – Procurement will be responsible for managing the procurement of medical and non-medical items, ensuring timely sourcing, cost-effective purchasing, vendor management, and uninterrupted supply of goods and services to support the hospital's operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procure medical equipment, medicines, consumables, optical products, and general supplies as per approved requirements.

  • Obtain quotations, evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices, and process purchase orders.

  • Maintain effective relationships with vendors and identify new sourcing opportunities.

  • Coordinate with user departments to ensure timely procurement and delivery of required items.

  • Monitor inventory levels and support stock planning to prevent shortages or overstocking.

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and approval processes.

  • Maintain procurement records, contracts, vendor databases, and documentation.

  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Prepare procurement reports and support budgeting and cost control initiatives.

  • Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Management.
