Responsibilities & Context:
Handle end-to-end import and export customs clearance activities for all consignments.
Prepare and process customs documentation, including Bill of Entry (BOE), Bill of Export, HS Code classification, and other regulatory documents.
Coordinate with Customs authorities, Chattogram Port, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and C&F agents to ensure timely cargo clearance.
Liaise with government agencies and relevant stakeholders to facilitate smooth import and export operations.
Manage customs-related commercial documentation, including Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, L/C documents, and other shipping documents.
Coordinate with clients and internal departments to provide operational support and ensure timely cargo delivery.
Monitor shipment status and resolve customs or documentation-related issues promptly.
Handle L/C documentation and maintain coordination with banks for import-related transactions.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Customs regulations, Import Policy Orders, VAT, and other applicable trade laws.
Maintain accurate customs records and prepare reports as required.
Oversee logistics activities related to import and export operations.
