Education:
Lead and manage the Distribution Planning team to ensure smooth, efficient, and uninterrupted nationwide distribution operations.
Monitor and improve key logistics KPIs, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), Fill Rate, Cost per Ton, transportation utilization, and delivery lead time.
Manage transport contracts, RFP processes, commercial negotiations, and the overall performance of 3PL service providers to ensure cost-effective and reliable logistics operations.
Develop, implement, and regularly review SOPs, SLAs, operational guidelines, and compliance standards to ensure consistent service quality and process efficiency.
Set annual and quarterly logistics targets in alignment with business objectives, while maintaining effective budget control and conducting regular cost and performance analysis.
Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives across logistics and distribution operations to enhance efficiency and reduce overall supply chain costs.
Identify logistics-related risks and develop effective mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure business continuity during supply disruptions, transportation constraints, or other operational challenges.
Oversee company-owned transportation operations to ensure efficient vehicle utilization, timely product delivery, and reduced transportation lead time.
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and process improvements across supply chain functions while maintaining required service levels.
Prepare, manage, and monitor the department’s annual logistics budget, ensuring effective utilization of resources and continuous improvement in cost efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, legal requirements and operational procedures across transportation, depot and distribution activities.
Develop contingency and risk-mitigation plans for supply disruptions, vehicle shortages, production constraints, seasonal demand and other logistics emergencies.
Guide, develop and evaluate the logistics team to improve operational capability, accountability and overall performance.
Lead logistics-related negotiations, tenders and service-provider evaluations to ensure competitive commercial terms and sustainable service quality.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance distribution efficiency, reduce logistics cost, minimize product damage/loss and improve overall customer service.
Provide regular management reports, logistics performance analysis, cost analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management for effective decision-making.
