Job Context:

Assistant Manager – Production Planning to support the efficient planning, scheduling, and execution of sports footwear production by developing realistic production plans, balancing factory capacity, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely availability of materials and resources. The incumbent will work closely with Production, Industrial Engineering, Material Planning, Development, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to achieve on-time delivery, optimum line utilization, and productivity targets while maintaining quality and compliance requirements. The role is critical in ensuring that customer orders are executed efficiently and aligned with business objectives, operational capabilities, and delivery commitments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and chalk out section wise production plans and schedules to ensure on-time delivery while optimizing factory capacity and resources.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IB, MRP, ISC, DL, EXECUTION TEAM) to ensure material availability, smooth production flow, and timely execution of customer orders.

• Allocating orders wise materials, follow up Trail and Pilot process, monitor production progress, shipment commitments, Goods Ready Dates, Customer Delivery Dates, and resolve planning risks through effective recovery actions.

• Analyze production capacity, line charging, production performance, and key performance indicators to improve planning accuracy and operational efficiency.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plan and freezing, and planning updates to support decision-making.

• Prepare for SSE and other internal by maintaining planning records and representing the Production Planning team during audit activities.
