Responsibilities & Context:

A Leading Agro-Based Multinational Company is Seeking a Sr. Officer/ Asst. Manager - Supply Chain.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Sourcing, Price negotiation, Price finalization, negotiation of other terms & conditions and deal finalizing and issuance of Purchase order.
  • Accountable for preparing supporting documents for the supply plan, identifying potential sources, negotiating for competitive advantage and best price, and executing procurement per company policy and procedure.
  • Monitoring goods movement of shipments to avoid supplier delays, follow-up of goods receiving and ensuring and confirming required quality and quantity of goods receipt by store/site.
  • Maintain a smooth supply of Raw Materials & Packaging Materials.
  • Analyze forecast and stock level to prepare an accurate procurement plan incorporating inventory norms as per company policy.
  • Established and realized Key Supplier Agreements, identified new opportunities, sought ways to improve efficiency and ensured purchasing compliance.
  • Identify, control and develop purchasing processes and practices as well as ensure the best value for expenditure on goods and services.
  • Search for new and alternative supplies and ensure timely delivery of the requested materials.
  • Contribute to developing alternate sources to build a comprehensive supplier base to minimize the supply chain risk and ensure competitive advantage.
  • Update vendor database on a regular basis.
  • Provide support and advice to management and staff on procurement matters.
  • Any other task assigned by the management.
