Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Deputy Manager -Supply Chain Management to support and oversee the overall Supply Chain function. The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain operations, including local and international sourcing, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and supplier relationship management. The role will act as the second-in-command of the department and ensure smooth business operations in the absence of the department head.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Supply Chain in managing the overall department.

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies to ensure uninterrupted business operations.

• Source raw materials, machinery, spare parts, and other operational requirements from both local and international suppliers.

• Identify, evaluate, and develop new overseas suppliers to ensure quality, competitive pricing, and reliable delivery.

• Conduct supplier negotiations, price analysis, contract management, and vendor performance evaluations.

• Coordinate import procurement activities, including purchase orders, shipping schedules, Incoterms, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and documentation.

• Ensure timely procurement of materials while optimizing cost, quality, and lead time.

• Manage inventory planning, warehouse operations, and stock control to minimize shortages and excess inventory.

• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics and transportation activities.

• Collaborate with Production, Commercial, Finance, Quality, and Engineering departments to meet operational requirements.

• Monitor supply chain KPIs and prepare analytical reports for management.

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Supply Chain team.

• Perform the responsibilities of the Head of Supply Chain Management in their absence.
